How to Sell

How to sell at a Live Auction

This method is an event. To chose the live auction method we will visit you site and review the items to determine the best opportunity for sale. The greater the value of the combined items will determine if the LIVE AUCTION method is best. It is best NOT to move the items for a live auction before exploring the idea of labor, transportation and more labor to unload, set and prep!

Once the determination has been made to conduct the live auction and the location has been determined we begin the set and prep process by segregating the items to be sold. We need to develop an Auction route and place the items that need to be at the beginning of the auction first and line the additional items up, take pictures and minimal inventory for ad placement. The advertising is extremely important on any Live Auction event and needs to take place 30 days prior to the event.

Live auction is exciting and has a carnival feel to the event with food catering vendor(s), portable restrooms, large crowds and hopefully good weather! When it come to large farm auctions, country estate sales or high value item specific sales LIVE AUCTION is the best method and will allow bidders the opportunity to bid the highest for the right to buy your TREASURE for sale!

How to sell at an Online Auction

To sell any items with the online auction method just simply contact us via the “Contact us” tab on the home page to set a free evaluation appointment and we can review the details concerning the process. The commission structure can vary based on the type(s) of items, number of items and overall value. Once we have agreed to a structure we sign the contract that reduces our agreement to writing and we set a time that our staff pictures, describes and tags all items for upload to the internet. We present you treasures for sale to thousands of our registered bidders, advertised on AuctionZip (getting 1 million hits per day), optimized for internet search engines to find on the open internet as well as email blasts to our 20,000 plus member data base. We typically list your items for 6-10 calendar days and present a window of preview. We then end the auction on set days to optimize the bidding. Once the auction has ended online our project managers send every bidder an invoice for the total amount due. We also, email you the seller a preliminary settlement report that details auction with sale amount for each item, a total of the sale at the bottom of the report and the total commission (agreed upon) due for the sale. Therefore you will know the net amount of the auction proceeds (check to you the seller) the night that the auction ends.

Then next we set a day for the buyers to pay for the items and retrieve them once paid. We have available labor to move, load and find all items! We provide clean up, clean out and interior protection for your home or business based on the conditions of our auction contract or agreement.

Once the auction has ended and the funds have been collected and items distributed we summarize the final settlement and you are given the net proceeds within 7 days of the auction ending! So, from beginning to end we have money in your hands in approximately two weeks!
